INTRODUCTION
Jose Antonio Gonzalez Architects is a creative design company oriented towards the creation, planning and permitting of innovative retail, commercial and residential projects. After the company’s incorporation, Jose Antonio Gonzalez Architects Inc. quickly became an important creative partner for various entrepreneurial initiatives in Southern California, Texas and Mexico. Formerly known as JAGP Studio LLC, the design group became Jose Antonio Gonzalez Architects Inc. after founder Jose Antonio Gonzalez became licensed as an architect in the State of California, after passing succesfully the national NCARB registration examination and the all the state and local requirements.
José Antonio González, the founder, counts with over 10 years of experience in design and architecture, including work in several architecture firms all around the world such as Team Haas Architects in Austin, Sauerbruch Hutton Architects in Berlin and RGA Architects and Planners in New York City. In addition, Jose Antonio collaborated with Frank O. Gehry and Edwin Chan at Gehry Partners LLP as design associate for seven years with involvement in several national and international projects such as the "Puente de Vida" Biodiversity Museum in Panama City, the Brooklyn Atlantic Yards Arena and Towers in Brooklyn, NY; and the Hall Winery in the Napa Valley, CA.
Our company has interest in commercial and residential projects of all scales and context, as well as a strong commitment towards exploring innovative directions in design and branded architectural representation; all through collaborations with marketing, media, furniture design, business creation and hospitality professionals.
